Patty's Off-center Cafe

Visited for breakfast on my wedding day with my bridal party. The food was lovely, and the people were even lovelier! The chef came out to personally ask if we were enjoying our meal, and other kitchen staff congratulated me on our way out. The space was cozy, and we all adored the chicken-themed decor. Will absolutely go again with my husband if we get the chance!

I had breakfast here today with my son. We both were very pleased with the service and the food. He had the homemade corned beef and I had German hash. They were both very good and the servings were generous. Our server kept our coffee cups full too. That's always a big plus with me. Will definitely be coming back!

Updating my review from 2 years ago: Still 5 stars. I go here on occasion and every single time it's the best breakfast I've ever had. The food couldn't taste better. Why in the hell would someone go to Shari's when this place exists. If you haven't been here, come here. The ultimate scramble is my favorite but I just had the tofu scramble and I was blown away at how good it was. Oops I was so amazed by the food I almost forgot to mention the service here is incomparable as well. This place really is A+ in every category.

Chicken Fried Steak- breading was very light/hardly any. Steak was tough. Needs to be tenderized more. Gravy minimal flavor. Potatoes over cooked an excessive onions and peppers. Eggs were the best thing about the whole plate Uncle Mikes Red Neck Benedict- Scratch made Herb Biscuit was great. Handmade sausage patties are a good way to go. Cost- Over priced for the amount of food you get. Example $3 for a small 8oz glass of milk? Atmosphere- fun and quaint decor. Hometown feel. Staff- friendly and attentive Most likely won't come back. 2 star is generous since we can't give half stars.

One of The Best breakfast places in Salem...hands down!! Pancakes are so fluffy and delicious our picky eater wanted to come back everyday for them! Herb biscuits are perfect and the breakfast burrito was filling. The homemade tomatillo sauce was amazing....would by a bottle! Overall I believe everything is handmade in house and worth every dime! Will be back for sure! Great service to top it off too!

I discovered a delicious, cute, 38 seat breakfast cafe over the weekend ~ Patty's Off Center Cafe located in Salem, Oregon. They make their own herb biscuits, country gravy and sausage along with homemade soup served during lunch. I highly recommend the Ultimate Scramble with eggs, corned beef, potatoes, avacado and pico de gallo and the Chicken Fried Steak breaded and served with sausage gravy, 2 eggs, country potatoes and herb biscuit.
