One of the top places for a good, well priced lunch in the Downtown/Capitol area. Perfect for lunch during the workday. Within walking distance of many offices. I usually get the turkey pesto sandwich and cup of soup and am satisfied for the rest of the work day. Good quality ingredients and good. Service is great and quick. Gets kinda busy around lunch time. 10/10

Owner/manager is very friendly, food always tastes great and comes at a good price. Mostly a grab-and-go place, although seating in the courtyard is nice when available.

This is our go-to place for coffee and breakfast burritos where I work. The staff is always nice. Sometimes there is a line, but what do you expect for good food & great coffee at an affordable price. If you're downtown by DOCO or the Capitol, go check it out. Bonus: they have a parking lot!

Great sandwich for under $10 in 2022 is five stars worthy. Convenient location too. I got the turkey guacamole sandwich and it was delicious and just the right size for lunch. Not a mountain of meat so you could still taste the toppings.

The other day I was in line waiting to order and this lady ordered an Italiano sandwich but wanted it minus like half the items in the sandwich. The lady working the counter said that she could order the build your own sandwich since what she was ordering wasn’t really an Italiano and she got all irritated. I can’t stand people who think they can order something off the menu and remove almost every item off the sandwich and still call it what it was on the menu. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and never had any issues. The coffee and food here has always been delicious!

Gino's Java is tucked away at ground level of the Capitol Towers apartment building. Friendly service, good coffee, delicious lunch items, and a convenient location will keep me coming back. There's a bit of a lunch rush due to the ongoing construction work in the area, so plan accordingly and find a seat in the sun!
