Sumo Sushi

Great sushi place. I actually relied on reviews myself for this one and quickly chose this place based on their 4.6 star rating. Don't quote me on that. Either way, I was not disappointed at all. The cost was lower than expected, and the good was every bit as good as their rating if not better. I got the three item combo bento box lunch special teriyaki and salmon chicken, and spicy tuna rolls. It was as good as that could be. And for $20 bucks at a sushi place, I ate great and was actually full afterward! Definitely recommend this place.

We tried this place for the first time last night and it was great. My wife got the salmon teriyaki bento box, my son got California roll and miso soup, and I got vegetable tempura roll and miso soup. We split an order of spring rolls. The sushi was the perfect amount, bigger than I expected. The salmon teriyaki was a bit small portion wise for the price but my wife wasn't complaining. We'll be back.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. I’ll admit I’m a huge sushi snob and as someone who usually goes for mikuni, this spot holds up. I never would have gone without a rec from a friend. Don’t let the outside fool you. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The sushi rice is perfect. Flavors, construction is all there. Can’t comment on dining in as I used the drive through pick up window. Took off a star from service for the longer wait til than I was quoted (had to pull back around after I waited an extra 10 minutes, thankfully TikTok is very entertaining lol) I’ll definitely be back!

Grabbed some small bites while doing a car wash next door. Ordered: -2 draft sapporo $7/ea -sierra mist $2.50 -salmon skin hand roll $4 good and crispy -spicy tuna hand roll $4, average -jalapeno bomb $8.50 fried well Staff was friendly and attentive. Not busy for the afternoon. Lots of seating. Easy parking in the plaza.
