Vallejo's Restaurant

My family decided to try this restaurant as we love Mexican food, and the reviews were good. This restaurant did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated immediately (on a Friday night).The customer service that we received was amazing. We met one of the employees (Jose), and he told us to let him know if we needed anything. He checked on us regularly. The food was delish and they give you large portions of food. I got the fajita mix with chicken, steak, and chicken. I'll be back next time I'm downtown and craving Mexican food.

I've been here quite a few times foe lunch, with this time I decided to try the breakfast. The pancakes were great Is perfectly golden brown. The scrambled eggs were sliced up a little bit much like carne asada and tasted good. The potatoes were a mexican style and very yummy as well. I recommend you try the breakfast there!

My wife and i decided to try this place for the first time. My wife had the quesadilla, and I had Chile Relleno. The portion size was plenty. My wife said her carnitas in the quesadilla was good. The Chile Relleno was just ok. It only had cheese inside, unfortunately. For the price, it should include meat inside. Service was good, they checked on us frequently.

I had the lunch special with 2 shredded beef crispy tacos. The food was good - but not great. A little lacking in the greasy flavor I like. The inside of the restaurant is quite noisy which made it somewhat difficult to hold a conversation. Overall, this is good, but not great and I likely won’t be back soon.

Went there with family and we are a big crew of 8 people. The staff was super friendly the minute we walked in. Super attentive and helpful. The food was very good, flavorful and great portions. The price is a very good value. The place has both indoor and outdoor dining. We had great fun and a very good meal.

Growing up food insecure, there was something perplexing about watching Gordon Ramsey talking about starving when eating a bite and spitting it out. I understand now that sometimes that hunger we have isn't just for any food but food that can satisfy a certain itch. This place was a nice quick stop on relieving my hunger for something that tastes like home. I'm from Southern California, born and raised in San Diego, and something about the Chicken Enchiladas here just hit the right spot. I'm no longer craving that taste of home.
