Don't let it fool you not being on main drag, this is delicious fusion of Korean & Japanese flavors. Their rolls all seem to be better than the last one making me want to keep trying different ones. Their jalapeno pancakes were a fantastic starter to get the table going but not too spicy so be bold and try it!

Its a Saturday night and we chose this place because it was empty and away from the busy street. The (owner?) states reservations are preferred which is understandable (the place was empty) but that they'll be able to fit us in. We were seated outside since we brought our puppy ( there are no heat lamps on the patio and it was chilly). It took over 5 minutes to be acknowledged even though servers were waiting tables around us. Our server came and was apologetic. The sushi was okay. My husband got the beef bulgogi sandwich and it was just SAD ( I attached a photo). The server apologized and brought out another sandwich which was a little better than the first. It looks nothing like the photo the owner posted, it barely had meat on it and no scallions or sesame seeds. My husband and I LOVE eating out but this place was overpriced and anything but refined.

The food was delicious and fresh and the drinks were amazing ! I enjoyed the Chanel Replica & SHE-SHO FRESH rolls; you could tell that fresh fish was used. After eating I felt full but light ! The restaurant has a “big-city”, youthful feel to it with cool music, eclectic artwork, and creative sushi names. The restaurant is spacious, yet feels intimate thanks to the panel dividers. Everything about this place is an experience - from the Hidden Dragon cocktail that emits smoke as it’s poured to the water feature in the outdoor dining area. With only four coveted seats at the sushi bar, it’s also a perfect spot for a romantic dinner with a show. They offer deliciously unique sushi rolls with even more unique names, such as the Rolls Royce and the She-Sho Fresh. For appetizers, I highly suggest trying the Korean Meatballs and the Angry Ribs. Monkey 68 is the perfect place to go on a date, with your parents, or with a group of friends.

The amount of flies on the patio was truly disgusting. We ordered the meatballs, which were delicious, and there were 4 flies on the plate as it was placed on the table. I ordered the 68 roll and my fiance had the Lady in Red. While my fiance enjoyed her roll, the 68 was so over salted it was nearly inedible. For $26, I'm kicking myself for not sending it back. Cute set up but will not return.
