Denny's

Got out of work late so me and my girlfriend decided to get a bite to eat. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and friendly attitude by none other than Superman himself. He was attentive, respectful, thoughtful, and just set such a great atmosphere. The food was great, just bummed we were too full to try one of his killer banana splits. Maybe next time :) The renovations looked great too!

The service was horrible! Our waitress took our order, didn’t seem to be in a good mood as it was. She brought our drinks. I asked if they had French vanilla creamer to which she replied rudely no! And than we only seen her once after to refill our coffee only because we asked the guy that brought our food if we could have a refill! Ridiculous that we have to ask others. What’s worse is that it wasn’t even busy! We asked for extra napkins she said she would bring them and never did only seen her at our table a total of 3 times take our order, bring our drinks, and refill the coffee. Never came by to ask how everything was or if we needed anything else. Other then that the other waitress around us seemed to be very attentive to her customers and the food was good.

The manager comes to drop off our food no hello or good morning, standard courtesy. I’m the one who said good morning… Then they give me the wrong skillet and when they went to make the correct one they just added a little sauce and only had half the chicken on it, nothing like it should be. As I’ve ordered this several times before. I wish I would’ve taken a picture. I was also polite about their mistake and my only request was to get another bread that was warm and not cold. To which I hear the manager say “wooooooow” all loud. Yes I heard that. They came back with the same bread cold and I asked again a second time to warm it and they gave me the same bread which was all squashed a third time.

Very good steak dinner, but forgot my bread. Called them to let them know and they said on my next visit and tool note of my name. I don't see myself going to get another steak dinner anytime soon so I doubt that will ever be corrected. I feel like when things like this happen, a employee actually doing a checklist of items would be most beneficial and not hurt business.
