Been eating at this place consistently since 2008. Best take-out Chinese for the entire surrounding area. No frills local spot with a very dated cafeteria-style dine-in motif, but this place absolutely slaps. Taste, portions, speed - they are #1 in every category. Don't be fooled by appearances, this is the spot. You'll come back, I promise.

First time ordering from this restaurant after reading reviews I decided to order and I'm glad that I did I ordered the shrimp egg foo young and it was the best I've had in YEARS!! I've always loved a thick gravy it was very flavorful definitely will be ordering from here again.. I also ordered wings which I only received 3 for 8.99? I was a little confused by that but non the less I am highly satisfied and a customer for life

Update: seeing reviews saying this place has gone downhill. I disagree! We still get it constantly and have recommended it so many people who agree it’s delicious. Over the months we’ve been going though I have to say the customers that wait around in there are pretty consistently rude to the staff! So much so that I had to say something on here. Don’t think I’ve ever gone in there on a busy day and not seen at least one customer berating someone behind the counter, even when they were serving tons of people on New Year’s Eve customers were pretty cruel to them! Don’t know when their customers decided they have a pass to be so demanding and rude, but they do a fantastic job running a busy place. Tip: don’t go early to pick up your order or expect to be waited on, that’s not the design of this place and that’s okay, and being kind costs you nothing! This place is so freakin good. We consider ourselves kinda Chinese takeout snobs and we’re addicted to this place. Highly recommend!

When in Richmond, get your Chinese cuisines from here. Delicious food and great staff, you can’t go wrong. I appreciate the location of the restaurant because of the many establishments surrounding it. I bet your food will be done in 10 minutes. 20 minutes if you order a large quantity. Will I return? Duh 🙄 Of course.
