Brunch

This was my first time eating here. It was simply delicious!! I drove by over the weekend and it was packed.. However today I had an appointment in the area and they all recommended Love Shack!! The blueberry pancakes was delicious!! Maybe the best I’ve had in my entire life!! The server was great and so was the atmosphere!! I’m looking forward to returning real soon! Plus great music! Nice spot!!

Been a few times and I always look forward to returning. Food is solid and the menu is well thought out. Good portions and very reasonable prices for what you get. And staff is always lovely and attentive. Bonus they work with you on menu modifications. And the scene is just so fun. Dive bar means fun kitschy diner. My recs- the egg sandwhich and blt are spot on. The side salad with pickled onions is a perfect upscale flourish. Love me love love shack!

So, I've been to the Lakside location several times, but this was my first time here at the Main Street place. I like the location, decent for people watching, open, good vibe, but dude, get some more comfortable chairs. Anyways, ordered the big breakfast whale thingy and the bacon was good, English muffin was good, eggs over medium and good but their take on potatoes is not my favorite. They're not so much bad as just not what I feel a breakfast potato should be. Coffee was good, but server was a bit tardy checking on us and I had to ask for assistance. Not the end of the world, but hey service, good service counts, right? We also ordered a sweet treat to share and let me just say that maple, caramel sauce is no joke. I mean it is good stuff. The only downfall is the dish is pretty rich and that kinda things fills me up fast, so I can not eat much. Hey, that is probably a good thing. By the way, my daughter had the same breakfast I did, and seemed to enjoy it. All in with a 20% tip we hit almost $44. Not bad considering the sweet treat we shared but not the Mega value I get at, say Waffle House.
