El Cafetal Bakery

I used to enjoy coming to this place . The empanadas and cheese finger bread used to be my favorite thing to get . They don’t make them the same , the empanadas are bad and the cheese fingers are hard to chew . Their prices are too high , a small milkshake in $7 . When I used to pay around $5 . Way too overpriced overall I do enjoy the customer service , they’re quick .

Stopped on a whim, boy was I not disappointed! Clean, inside and out. Nice bathroom as well. Now for the food; Great baked chicken empanadas and good coffee. The standout however, was the apple turnover. It was one of the best I've EVER had. Overall, I was impressed. Also, the staff was friendly and warm. Going to keep this place in mind when I'm over here.

Overpriced. It’s a Colombian bakery own by Ecuadorians bought a few years years after it was opened. The quality of the food remained somewhat the same but the prices went up. They don’t accept credit cards, only cash (I wonder why...) which makes it very inconvenient. The owner can be a bit arrogant as well... that’s why I give it 3 stars.

The pastries are pretty decent but the owner/manager is very mean and nasty. I was a regular customer but one day i went there with my friend and ordered a pastry and coffee. My friend had half a sandwich from her lunch so we sat down and started eating. We were the only people sitting there and the manager came out and started yelling at us. I was so taken back since I always went there and everybody is usually really nice. He started yelling and kicking us out for bringing outside food. Instead of telling us nicely, he came out guns blazing cursing at me in Spanish meanwhile i am a Spanish speaker myself. He judged me because I looked white. I will never go back there, i rather give my dollars to the small businesses who value hospitality and customer service. Their pastries sit out way longer then they're suppose to anyway.
