La Nopalera

Love love love this place. Moved out here from Cali a year ago dreading if I would be able to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. Happy to report I did and this is now my fav go to place to eat, chill, relax, watch the game, have drinks and very family and kid friendly. And the WHOLE staff are AMAZING!!! Thank you for the perfect service always provided.

Very pleasant staff, clean dining room, nice selection on the menu. Our party of three had two meals that were excellent and one that was decent. To be fair, the decent meal, was mine and it was a lunch special so it was just basic meat, cheese and sauce enchiladas. The Taco was just beef, cheese and lettuce. Drinks were good and nicely priced. All in all, this was a pleasant experience and I would go back and try something else.

We are camping at Fort McAllister and I really wanted some Mexican food. There were two choices, and sadly, both had some terrible reviews. I decided on La Nopalera, and my husband and I were both exceedingly happy with our meals. I had the beef tip chimichanga, which was delicious. The refried beans were the best I've had, since I made a batch myself recently. Excellent chips and salsa, although it could be too spicy for some. The "hot" salsa was also very good. Service was excellent as well. We could not have been more pleased.

I truly adore La Nopalera! I discovered this small gem when searching for a new place to get my Mexican food fix. The two Mexican restaurants in Hinesville left me wanting more (one is bland and at the other, I found a hair in my food) so I was forced to branch out. And I am more than happy that I did! Honestly, I don't mind the fact that it's a 30 minute drive to get here because the selection and food are very well worth it. The atmosphere is traditional with a laid back and relaxed feel. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the food is fabulous! This is the place I recommend to my family and friends and now, to you as well! They will get my business for many more years to come!

M U S T E A T The best real Mexican food around. The drinks are strong food exceeds a 5 star rating. Busy as can be on a Friday night yet friendly and fast. They handled the crowd better than your chain restaurants. Always support your local restaurants. Big chain restaurants are over priced and full of unhappy employees now days. Not the case here. Waiter was prompt. Everything was correct and beyond delicious!! Will be back without question. Not bad for the pricing either...
