One of the best meals we've ever had !

Stopped in here for an evening meal, they managed to fit us in. The owners and staff are amazing and really welcoming. This pub is what pubs should be, fantastic atmosphere. We had a fantastic meal in here and the beer was great too. Live music, could have easily stopped here all night.

Had an absolutely spot on dinner this evening. We both ordered off their specials board. My husband had pan fried chicken, dauphinois potatoes and veg and I had homemade falafel, hummus, mint yoghurt and pickled cabbage on flatbread. Honestly couldn't fault any of it. We had desserts too which were amazing. Great service, price and atmosphere too!

Visited here for first time yesterday, as we are moving in to the area, and it'll be our closest local.
What a fantastic pub it is!
The Landlady was very welcoming, and the locals were super friendly too.
The food was really good, with fair portion sizes also.
Has a good selection of cornish ales, 🍻 beers and cider 🍏 on tap.
Love the fact it has a pool table and jukebox aswell.
The cozy log burner 🔥 was the finishing touch.
Can't wait to make it our local pub.

What can I say so friendly and welcoming Turn up on a day that the chief was trialling a new dish offered it to the staff .I was sat in the bar and it smelt wonderful Had already placed order for food and was offer the opportunity to first customer to try the new dish. Its was amazing you need to visit here the food is truly wonderful and has a very good vegetarian menu It'd a family run good pub and restaurant you walk in and feel the happy vibes. Oh and I believe Grandads the brilliant chef

One of the few places that actually sells food all day. We had the steak and ale pie. Absolutely delicious. The staff where very friendly as well.

Absolutely lovely. Home cooked food was superb, Nat the barmaid was so welcoming and friendly. Cleanest toilets I have found in a pub. Thanks for a lovely time.

Nice place to enjoy with nice food. We been in the area for a few days and we repeat to have dinner in there.
Staff was excellent service and you feel like you're in home. My family and myself we really recomend this restaurant to have a nice dinner with good quality, fresh and good environment plus the staff was lovely. 100% recommended and for sure we will be back.
