Boardwalk

I visited the Microsoft campus and for my luck I entered Boardwalk not knowing what was inside. The ambience is amazing, staffs were super friendly and very pleasant. Their drink menu looks so tempting. Ordered Spring Gin and IPA with Cheddar Garlic waffle fries. Drink was decent and nice. The fries was too cheesy(cheddar) will customize in my next visit. They also have happy-hour.

I've been here twice now and have been really impressed with the food both times. They have a great lunch and dinner menu, plus I love their happy hour. The atmosphere is modern, yet comfortable. Service is always friendly and prompt as well. If you're on or near Microsoft campus in Redmond, Boardwalk is definitely worth a visit!

I wish I could give them a better review. I have to believe this place stays open only based on the fact that it is the only restaurant on Microsoft campus that serves alcohol. As I write this review, I’ve been waiting 15 minutes to have my order taken. After eating here multiple times, as again, it was the only option, the food is mediocre at best. The burgers are over cooked, the fries dripping in oil and the beer selection, underwhelming for seattle. The redeeming menu item is their beer cheese soup. The wait staff is very pleasant, just not always attentive.

I had great to go service here. Servers and the host were friendly and sweet. They helped me get the fastest to go order that they can. I had their burger with crispy shiitake mushrooms. It was amazing. It is expensive but anyone can buy food here if you are on campus. The common food court only allow for escort and employees with badges and there was no time for me to do that so I was super happy when the employees here made my service fast and friendly.
