Pho House

My wife and I went here after a day of errand running in Bend. Back in the day down in So Cal I used to get pho after a night of fun to tame the hangover, but I dont drink anymore. My wife wasn't feeling too hot after her booster, so I thought some delicious hot broth would make her feel better. She had never had pho before, and it was right on the money! The dining floor is tiny - 5 booths and a table for an 8 top. It was slightly dimmed inside, which I prefer much more than blazingly bright. Their menu is extensive - 5 or so apps, pho, rice dishes, noodle dishes, salads and bahn mi sandos. We shared a fried shrimp appetizer which was good, and my wife had the large chicken pho ($15.95). I had the large special pho, which has everything but chicken, and opted to add tripe ($17.95). Both were delicious!! Big bowls of broth, and lots - I mean lots of ingredients within. I counted 8 pieces of meatball alone, where @other places I've only gotten 2 or 4 max. For those that dont know, pho broth takes more than a day to prepare to get it rich and gelatinous. Our server was a young lady, friendly and efficient. I can tell that the cooks in the back are making each pho fresh because its didn't come out right away like fast food - it was piping hot which allows for the blanching of the condiment plate that comes with pho. When she brought out the condiment plate for us to share, I thought I was going to have to ask for another one, but glad I didn't because of the loaded bowl. Rich, fragrant and full of steeped flavor that makes you keep slurping away. Plus, there is a notyle of hoisin sauce on the table to sweeten it up if you like. Definitely going back there again!

My all-time favorite place to eat is the Pho House! My husband love this restaurant so much that at one point we were coming in every Friday night & called it our pho Friday date night. Seriously, it’s amazing pho. I’ve tried a couple of different items & the chicken pho is my favorite. My husband loves the beef pho. The chicken egg rolls are always a favorite, very crispy. The Vietnamese iced coffee is always a must, don’t skip the coffee!! The service is great, the guy who runs the register & orders is the most kind soul & we have always had the best service with him! Thank you for always taking care of us pho house! ♥️

I’ve gone to 6 different pho places in 2 countries in just the last few months and this is definitely a favorite! i ordered the combo pho and it was delicious! the staff was so friendly and our server did a great job. so happy to have stopped in redmond for the night on our road trip. we will certainly be coming back on our way home. :)

Really good. I had always made excuses to not go and find a pho restaurant in Bend but i was impressed with the food. The restaurant is small complex. The dining area is small, dark, but clean. Service was great but this isnt fast food. They seem to get alot of doordash orders and the kitchen isnt big. The wait is worth it. We ordered the pho and bun. Both exceeded expectations and is now our go to thai restaurant. They have a few vegetarian options but the chicken pho was unreal. They have lots of condiments that can be requested. More than other thai places ive been to. They do not have a huge drink selection so dont expect a beer menu that you might be used to at other restaurant. The food is definitely the headliner hear.
