Great chippy, better than it's been in decades. < new edit> Just been back after 5 years of it being shut or me being away. I can confirm it is really great again. Top chips, my fathers cod was excellent - apparrently - and my chicken and chips was also spot on. Really hot too, thats always a good thing. Thank you Merchants 2.0 See you again soon!

Good quality dependable fish and chips best we've found in the area. Gravy is 50/50 depending on the day, the chicken meat similarly runs out so often isn't available if you go around 7pm or later. Staff are similarly great or rubbish, when great the food is correct the price is too and everyone's happy otherwise items are forgotten service is extremely slow and things get double charged. It's a testament to the food that queues are often out the door and stretch down the road. Chips have been made a little thinner and are better for it, they're never greasy. Good food. Top tip: pre-order, never had an issue when doing this.
