Swissbakers

I found an old favorite in a new spot at the Reading train station! Swissbakers is such a special European shop for pastries, breakfast and tasty beverages! I adore their croissants, Berliners, raspberry blueberry muesli and iced chai latte! Friendly service and reasonable prices made it a trifecta of treats!

One of our staples when we come to the Boston area for vacation. We always make sure we visit here to pick up some delicious chocoweggli and berliners (raspberry and nutella) to bring back home with us. Family loves this place and expect us to bring some home. Delicious pastries, coffee and friendly staff.

From a delicious oat milk, mocha, iced latte, to an fantastic breakfast sandwich on a fresh baguette roll, this place is awesome. Service was by someone with a smile, and high energy, personality, which made my experience all the more enjoyable. Their pastries are incredible, especially their pretzels. The people who get on and off the train here daily are so lucky to have the convenience of this fabulous bake shop cafe. I'll definitely be returning.

This is a small cafe that has yummy and healthy foods. Pastries taste more European (butter instead of oil, natural flours and sugars instead of the more common / cheap industrial flours and sugars), which shouldn't surprise you since the family that owns and runs it is from Switzerland. The selection is great and the deserts are fantastic. Overall very high quality of pastries and sandwiches and a very solid flavor in everything. You will spend a dollar or two more, but you will get something that's full on flavor and is healthy too!
