Newish building that has aged extremely poorly. Management is a ghost they don’t write people back on purpose. Bunch of paper pushers who can’t get anything done. Elevators haven’t worked in months. The roof has so many boards loosing and missing it’s a hazard to people. This a building built on a massive budget that looks like it’s 30-40 years old. Again management sucks. Plenty of other places to live where they have elevators that are not missing every single button. Pretty pathetic.

If you're planning to move in STOP now ! This building management is big scam. We moved 4 months ago and they still haven't returned our security deposit check. They haven't applied the 1 month concession that they advertise. On top of that, despite the fact that we stayed 3 months without gas because of a leak, you cannot communicate with building management through email, they don't respond. You can only ask for a phone appointment with management at the front desk which takes ages. I don't recommend at all, be careful !

The building has changed management 3 times since my 2 year stay. Didn't have hot water or heat for a week and no cooking gas for 4 months. Was given 2 weeks concession and was promised more. After asking and getting ignored for over 2 months they decided to not give any other concession. The building has been a complete mess for over 5 months. Holes in the walls, unfixed tile, cardboarded up elevators, unpainted hallways, and numerous amounts of entry into the apartments from management and workers. This is supposed to be a luxury building that has luxury prices for rent. I would have never signed another year lease if I was told we weren't getting another concession for all these mishaps. Management very misleading and unsupportive. Otherwise the door guys are amazing and the building is in a great location. I would think twice about renting here.

We haven't had heat and cooking gas for 6 weeks due to a major gas leak. Management has been shamefully not communicative throughout this period. They did not respond to emails and calls for weeks and left holes on my wall without explaining why or when they would fix them. Countless workers entered my apartment without notice or permission. The doormen are fantastic but management couldn't be worse. I am moving out and can't wait to be done with this place!

Been here for 3 years and continue to love living here! I just renewed my lease. Besides the location which is just the best, the team (front desk, the porters, and management) always try their best to accommodate as best as possible. A very community-like feeling. I lived here during the gas issue (they gave us financial concessions, electric stove top and gift cards to whole foods and other times Harvest market on a daily basis) and during the Covid-19 stay-at-home, Jacky from management made sure we were safe at all times by following all the guidelines necessary while the porters kept everything sanitized and Steve is just a Gem, there for you in no time. Thank you team at 50 N 5th!

Oh boy. Been here 5 months, and it's been construction work the whole time. No heat or gas for 3 months due to a major gas leak, with hot water also occasionally going. Despite breaking the rental agreement on numerous occasions, we received 2 weeks rent credit because 'we had a microwave to cook'. The communication from the management and ownership of the building has been shameful (everything is ignored), and at this point they're fully just showing resentment to their tenants.
