The Corn Stores

I was there for a business lunch with a speaker. I have some allergies, so normally I'm quite embarrassed by what is provided (everyone else has a normal meal and I get some cheese and GF crackers or something mental), but my meal was absolutely beautiful and very similar in style to everyone else's. The other attendees commented on how tasty their meals were and how nicely plated. Would def recommend.

The Corn Stores is an upmarket eatery on Forbury Road in Reading. I've been here a couple times now and will go again. The food is really very good. Specialty is the steak. This is a more expensive place to eat but you get what you pay for and the venue itself is very funky/chic. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Try the strawberry's and cream cocktail, this is an olfactory phenomenon. Initial hit of sugary sweet followed by an in mouth inversion into a rich cream. A very odd sensation but so good. The steaks are very good, if anything they undercook them so ask for a how you want it done one level above what you would normally (or talk to the staff, they can always cook more if underdone but can't undo overdone). Yes. Really cool venue. Really good food. A treat for your partner. Recommended.

Great atmosphere, modern and stylish restaurant. The customer service is exceptional, and nothing was too much effort. The Corn Stores is perfect for having meetings, having a lovely meal, and having drinks to relax at the end of the day. It's walking distance from Reading train station, which makes it super handy. I would highly recommend it!!

This has been such a lovely experience! From welcoming at the door through the whole dinning time up until the leaving, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The food and drinks have been exceptionally tasty and well presented. And we enjoyed the ambient atmosphere as well. We will be back, thank you !

had the loveliest meal here on wednesday night, was served by rachel who honestly couldn’t do enough for us, she was so friendly and kind and made our meal so special! we had the 1kg tomahawk steak to share which was superb value and absolutely delicious - was a gorgeous meal all in all and will definitely be back soon!!

Best fine dining venue in reading, what more can you ask for. Food is incredible and spot on. Drink and cocktails are just perfect. I’ve been here a few times now. Everything we have had phenomenal service from Jay and his team. Mel running the bar and floor was one of best I’ve seen in the industry. I would highly recommend her S’more cocktail was a delight
