Ramsgate Beach Seafood

I nearly had a disastrous first time visit. I waited an hour for my mixed seafood order, which ended up being forgotten by accident. The staff refunded me the cost, put in a new order (at that time, they had stopped taking new orders), and gave me a free drink. I really appreciated how they handled and resolved the error. Their mixed seafood was delicious and big. I was left wanting more. It was also decently priced at $17.90. I am keen to try it again!

I was disappointed in the food I ordered the grilled snapper which came on top of the chips which were soggy and not edible I chucked them out. Snapper was tasteless my daughter loves grilled snapper but didn't eat any of it the herbs don't go with the fish and I didn't like the skin on. The salad leaked out of the container and looked awful I threw that out too. Seafood sticks were good. I ordered a beef burger was tasty bit cripsy round the edges of patty. I wouldn't order from here again.

The service has gone to hell in the last few months. They stuffed our order 2 of the last 3 times we’ve been here. The first time they missed a quarter of the order. The 2nd time one of the items ordered wasn’t available but we weren’t told until after the order was cooked. We’re all for supporting our local small businesses but these guys have done their dash with us. There are more seafood place in the area that will be happy to have our business.

The first time I came here in 2020, I had good service and good seafood so I kept returning. Last time I came here will probably be my last time. All of the staff wore their face masks under their chin (there was an indoor mask mandate in force at the time) and one older gentleman who wasn't working at the front walking in with no mask on at all. I had to wait over 20 minutes for my food as it was fairly busy but when I got my food my fish and chips were cold and only some of the items I had bought were hot.

Worst fish n chips ever! Waited for almost an hour for 2 grilled fish, took it to the beach and only 1 set cutlery given, chips and fish were tasteless, fish smelled and uncooked properly, chucked it all in the bin. Don't waste your time and money! Customer service terrible, everyone seemed unfriendly, no one smiled, they all looked very stressful 🙄😕
