A La Turka

Food was lovely..service was a bit slow waited 25min for cold starters to arrive after complaining. Are waiter took are order then left.. Another waitress was then put on are section but wasn't informed of our order. And the manager then had a go at her for no reason. Kelsey are waitress was lovely and very polite no complaints about her..

Given it's prime location on Ramsgate harbour I have to say my expectations were not particularly high when we took our table outside in the forecourt overlooking the harbour. If only I had taken the time to read the reviews of A La Turka I would have known what an extraordinary customer experience I was about to have. Make no mistake this is the real deal, genuine authentic Turkish food and what glorious food we were treated to. We selected the special sharing Meze as our lunchtime treat, enough for 3/4 people apparently. It did not disappoint! In fact it exceeded our expectations. The quality of the fresh foods was stunning! Cooked to perfection and busting with authentic Turkish flavours, impossible to fault. The staff were super professional, welcoming and efficient. Big shout out to Henry in particular who, with his playful sense of humour made our gastronomic experience even more special. This is a truly wonderful eating out experience with huge parasols and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to have a little bit of sunshine too! If you love Turkish food... I guarantee A La Turka will not disappoint. 10/10 for A La Turka and Henry!

My wife and I ate here for the first time recently, faultless. We eat out frequently and we are fussy about food. Everything was delicious, starters were huge! I can eat and a starter and main were almost too much for me. But that's not to say it was quantity over quality because the flavours were spot on. Service was warm and friendly and they have a great selection of non-alcohlic beers and cocktails. We will definitely be back, wish we'd tried you guys sooner. Thank you all so much.

The food is good quality but slightly pricey - though expected for the location. The service was top-notch. Location is just perfect - yards away from the harbour and the beach. Views from the restaurant are excellent - especially when sat outside. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing hospitality, top class service from the staff. The food was delicious and fulfilling as well. We ordered a mixed platter for 4 and we were quite hungry and was a bit anxious about the size of the serving. But the chef didn't disappoint as there was just the right amount of food. The pricing was also quite reasonable as we didn't have to break the bank to pay for drinks. Highly recommended if you're touring Ramsgate and vicinities
