Jubala Coffee

Jubala is a quite lovely coffee shop with great outdoor seating. The coffee is superb with full body and artfully made. Love that it's served in actual coffee mugs with saucers. I highly recommend their biscuits, which are scratch made, flaky, and buttery. Even though not directly on the menu, you can request just the ham and cheddar biscuit, which has a wonderful flavor profile with a slightly sweet biscuit, creamy cheese, and salty pop from the ham. Jubala is a perfect place to meet a friend for brunch, a client, or hold business networking over coffee.

I recently moved back to Raleigh, and the first place I wanted to go was back to Jubala. The food, the coffee, the newly arranged atmosphere, the staff, I mean where could they go wrong. I love going there to work and relax with a great cup of coffee or a latte. Everyone should go and get the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit… it is to die for.

Love this place. Delicious coffee and the food is exceptional. One issue I did run into was I added avocado on one of my biscuits (which costs extra) and it came out with not only two tiny slivers of avocado, but they were the consistency of plastic and wouldn’t even break when folded in half. I brought this to the attention of the cashier, where he politely understood and refunded me. Just wanted to bring awareness to the only issue I’ve ever had here so it can be fixed for future customers. The sausage biscuit was outstanding once the avocado was removed and the almond latte was great.

One of our highlights of visiting Raleigh is going to Jubala. Their lattes are perfection. I myself am a huge fan of the almond latte. Their breakfasts are also to die for! I can never decide between the sausage egg and cheese biscuit or the waffle with blueberry compote. All are scrumptious! They literally make the best biscuits ever. I love that their seating is now open after Covid and they even have nice bar seating. LOVE this place. I would like to add that their citrus pistachio bread/cake slice is the most moist, scrumptious thing ever.
