Smoking Star Bbq

Brisket and pork 2 meat plate with smoked mashed potatoes, potato salad and corn bread. Liked the flavor of everything. Brisket is shredded (which dried it up slightly) rather than a sliced serving. Sauce is a sweet. Colleage dining with my ate the jalapeño sausage and Brisket with smoked mashed potato and Mac n cheese. Both of us enjoyed the meal and will be back soon.

Smokin Star catered my Birthday dinner for 30 plus people. I love good BBQ and it was the best BBQ we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect, the portions were very generous and every single person at my party raved about how excellent the food was. The staff went far beyond what was expected and catered to our every need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I’d give 10 stars if possible!! Thank you Smokin Star!!!!

I ate at the food truck in Stansbury Park.The Brisket was some of the best I’ve had. Jalapeño cheddar sausage was also excellent! Loaded beans also good and the Mac and cheese not so much. Also they have amazing BBQ sauce I like it because it’s very thin with lots of flavor vs most BBQ sauces that are thick and pasty.

Wow! This place is great! I happened across it while in the Provo Towne Center Mall and decided to get some take home food. The gals there were focused on customer satisfaction and had me try almost everything on the menu before purchasing anything. They have the most delicious creamed corn of all things, and the same goes for the banana pudding. I walked out with some baby back pork ribs and some tri-tip. This is a great place to pop in and have BBQ. I foresee this popping up as a franchise.

This is a great family owned business. I have brought several people there for business lunches at the PTCM (very convenient from I-15), and the food is always great! Get there earlier in the day for ribs as they go fast! Pork, sausage, beef, and turkey are all excellent. The best sides IMHO are the loaded beans and the cream corn. Everything is fresh and home made.
