Se Llama Peru

If you do not come here, you are missing out. I have dined here twice and it is my favorite restaurant now. In fact, I'm trying to talk myself out of going again today. The stuffed potato, fried seafood, and little cookies are the best things I have ever eaten in my life, seriously. I don't know how they get the flavors so perfect and batter so light on everything they fry. Allow a little extra time for the service, as it is a small restaurant. The sweet, beautiful waitress does not speak English, so you may have to point at the menu, but both of these things are part of the charm. Enjoy.

It’s a small little restaurant within 8-10 minutes walking distance from the Utah Valley Convention Center. Our group of 6 people went there for lunch. I ordered the Limo Mixto with steak & shrimp. It was tasty but i wish it had little bit more sauce…felt kinda dry. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the service was super slow! I mean the lady was friendly and nice, but it took them almost 1 hour from taking our orders till the foods came out. And even after sitting at the table that long, she never brought the utensils and napkins to our table. But even so, I’m looking forward taking my family there soon. ^_^

A great place to eat in downtown Provo. We ordered the Arroz Chaufa (Fried Rice) with Beef. It’s probably the best fried rice I’ve ever eaten. Nice big pieces of fried egg, the beef was perfectly cooked and they serve large portions. We’ll definitely be eating there again. The photo is my take-home box. 👍🏻👍🏻

#SeLlamaPeru is a family-run Peruvian restaurant. We tried a couple dishes that were wonderful. Succulent #ceviche was very tasty and reminded my husband of his time visiting Lima. #AjiDeGallina Shredded chicken cooked in a creamy and yellow spicy sauce served on top of boiled half potatoes, accompanied with white rice. It was so creamy and luscious I loved it. We also enjoyed a lovely beverage #maracuyá (passion fruit juice) we look forward to returning for more great food.
