Why this isn’t one of Britain’s top Indian takeaways is a mystery. The food here is superb, cooked right in front of you in a place so clean you could eat off the floor. The staff’s service, attitude and attention to detail is fabulous. This is a seven star recommendation.

Best curry I've had in the UK. Such strong flavours. Happy to make the curry a little less heat for myself. Not a surprise it's always busy. Wonderful group of people.

Passing through was feeling hungry so stopped off here and glad I did food was excellent fresh and very tasty open kitchen is always good to see highly recommend.

Great food but now had three consecutive orders in a row with something paid for but not delivered. Not the end of the world but it is becoming a bit of pain.

These guys are the best! I had the ceylon on saturday night and the boss gave me a free poppadom and dips. Superb food. See you soon guys. 10/10

It’s very hard to find a great curry house. This is most definitely GREAT. The food here is always top quality and has a unique freshness to it. The chefs cook the food in a clean open kitchen for all to see. Nothing hidden here. Brilliant dishes replicated time and time again. The value for money is an obvious stand out. Great sized portions enable that little extra for the next day. By far the best curry house for miles and miles around. Better than any in Preston and definitely better than any in Ormskirk or Southport. Can’t recommend enough.

We have moved into the area and have been trying out various takeaways . We enjoyed Naaz but their waiting time became a joke so tonight decided to try this little place. It was a gamble worth taking as the food was delicious! The guy even gave us free popadums when he heard it was our first visit. Even though it is cash only there is an ATM at Spar. Will be going back

Ordered a large amount of dishes last night as had friends visiting us for the weekend. It was the first time we had ordered from here so I was hoping we had made a good choice as I’m fussy but my friends are super fussy and expect high standards.
I needn’t have worried as the food was absolutely gorgeous and all of us loved what we had chosen. The meat and sauces were super fresh and cooked beautifully.
The staff were fab and very helpful when we arrived to pick it up too.
I would highly recommend Tarleton Tandoori to anyone. It’s a treat 😉

We moved to the area not to long ago and every time we walked past, it smelt amazing. We had my folks round for my birthday and we decided to order from Tarleton Tandoori. We weren’t disappointed!
After ordering I was told it would be about 25 minutes. I did query the price when ordering as I was expecting it to be more expensive so wanted to check I hadn’t missed anything! I then returned 20 minutes later and the food was just being packed into the bags. A busy waiting area and other customers ordering was a good sign.
The food was excellent, and the lamb tikka in the mixed grill was very tender. The complimentary Mumbai Aloo was a nice touch. We will definitely be ordering here again.

Excellent cooking in an out of way location. I live in the middle of the curry capital of North West London and usually when people suggest a curry I am ready for a disappointment. Not this time, the food is cooked while wait, and watch. On Saturday night it was packed I can see why.
