Reminds me of the old working mans cafes. Great food, great prices, same happy faces every time. Booking advised as it's usually busy, which is good of course.

This venue has survived as a café for decades, although not always under the same management. So it is particularly pleasing that it is really good in its current form. There is a wide ranging breakfast & lunch menu with all the standard & favourite regulars as well as more unusual options. The food is fresh & well prepared. The staff are friendly & prompt.

My first time at this place . Me and my partner loved it , the place is small but cosy , polite staff and amazing atmosphere. Breakfast was top! Made me feel I was in one of those European coffee shops where the food is fresh and everything taste homemade stuff. Highly recommend, 5*

Really nice food and drinks. All day breakfast is a must have. Staff are lovely. Seeting is quite tight especially when busy. No wheelchair/disabled facilities. Baby changing facilities avalible via womens toilet.

Brownie was delicious and warm, prices were good and the hot chocolate looked so cute! I definitely recommend... Not to mention the friendly staff and warm ambience. ❤

Back on form!
This place has really turned it around since my last review. Quality is back up, and good friendly service. Really decent coffee, and the salads are out of this world... see pic! So pleased! 😀
(9 months ago) Used to be my favourite, but a number of decisions have detracted from it somewhat. There is no longer table service, which isn't too problematic, but the quality and portion sizes have reduced and the prices increased. Such a shame. Not a terrible place to eat, but lacking its former attraction.

Stumbled across this delightful establishment on a hot Sunday morning. We enjoyed a sunny welcome, and between us a superb breakfast of eggs Benedict, muesli, pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, and croissants.
Everything was beautifully cooked and presented, as well as tasting delicious, and all at a very attractive price.

Great food and a nice restaurant. It's a smallish place, but that shouldn't be underestimated. Had a great English breakfast here. It was relatively quiet when we went, there was no wait on food or drinks. Great service.
