Delicious meal. I had the mushroom risotto, and my friend had the salmon dish. It was so good that we wanted to eat here again the following night because we knew we wouldn't be disappointed, but alas, they are closed on Sundays. The price is reasonable for the quality of food and portion. Definitely recommend and would come back. The service was a bit slow, but we weren't bothered by this. Also, the mac and cheese was fairly average.

Fantastic food, great selection of gins and wines. The menu is a little pricey but the vegetable portions are great (something we found difficult to get in Scotland) and the presentation is excellent. Staff are a little slow on their feet and were leaning against the walls when we needed service, but apart from that it’s a great place to eat.

Wonderful place to eat. Warm friendly welcoming service amidst the hustle and bustle of Portree. Sweet friendly bar to relax with good local Skye Black beer. so glad I took chance to order the VENISON Steak So fresh and tender and sause just the right amount of hint of chocolate sweet and the bed of veggies perfect. wish the restaurant was in my home town in California USA. I’d definitely go back.

I have tonight been a party of 4, on our annual long standing 3 day driving adventure of Scotland. The front of house service and staff attentiveness from the moment we arrived was friendly, enthusiastic and we immediately relaxed and settled in to our evening. Throughout we enjoyed chats with the staff and owners, nothing was too much trouble. The food was fabulous, the lamb, steak and fish dishes some of the best we have had, the pigeon breast a triumph. Should you be lucky enough to be visiting Portree on the Isle of Skye you will not be disappointed. How lovely is this, Chris the owner unable to get us a taxi took us back to our lodge, the 4 North of England lads would like to wish Chris and his lovely misses all the best for the future and their soon to be arrival goes well.
