I started coming here in the summer of 2023. They have the best quality organic coffee beans and specialty coffee orders as well. Lo-Fi music playing in the background makes it a nice and peaceful respite from regular Starbucks. Check out the best coffee in downtown Portland.

This is a VERY pleasant coffee shop!! Very tasteful. I love the multitude of potted plants - it adds tranquility!! The White Choc Mocha I ordered was 10/10!!
The server executed my special requirements to a T.
Seating is pleasantly far apart from other guests; so one has a sense of "privacy" - which I like & value highly.
I can hardly recommend this venue on Broadway Ave & SW WA St strongly enough!!

A nice coffee shop in downtown Portland. The space is rather corporate - it's within a large office building, but they e done a good job making it feel pleasant and welcoming. Service was good and my smoothie swas delicious.

I got the Java Latte triple shot to get me through some hw. The taste is smooth and not too sweet. The ambiance is clean, bright and contains tons of greenery. I ordered the breakfast burrito for brain food. Great sized portion with great flavor.

Stopped in this morning for their beignets and they were SO GOOD! Crispy and sweet and hot off the press.
The staff is energetic and welcoming, in fact, the owners are there every day to ensure quality service is given.
The coffee shop is decorated with tons of plants, giving the space a tropical feel. Highly recommend!

Came to this place for a sweet cold treat on a hot day. The atmosphere is very cozy and a good place for studying and working. The workers were very friendly and promptly made my drink. I got the blended mango bubble tea, and the boba was very soft but not very sweet. The drink itself didn't taste a lot like mango and was more like a vanilla milky slush. It was still a nice drink, but I would probably try something else next time I visit.

Visited Portland for the first time ever and tried so many different coffee shops because I am a huge coffee fan. Java Man was the best one, hands down. I had to go back several times and the staff was so good, they remembered our previous orders throughout the week. Everyone was kind and the atmosphere is top notch. Spacious cafe with lots of hot and cold teas on the menu. The cafe has LOTS of plants and that combined with the brown furniture makes it feels uniquely forest-y and enchanted. Music is just the right volume and very relaxing and cozy. Staff is super nice!

Screw Starbucks; this is the place to be! Java Man is a beautiful establishment run by a local Portland family. It opened and operates in a manner true to the Portland spirit: delicious coffee, amazing food, and even better company.
The space itself is lush an full of natural light and tons of live plants. Seating options include everything from couches to bar stools, very comfortable if you want to use a laptop at a table or chat with friends in an armchair.

By far the best coffee shop in downtown Portland. I work nearby and every-time I come in, which is 2-3 times a week, the service is always top notch and friendly! Especially the mother and son duo. I love the decor and the music. The plants are a beautiful therapeutic touch to the coffee shop and they sell them too! Thank you Java Man

This place was an unexpected great find. Awesome cappuccinos and a 'tropical' atmosphere. You like plants? Tons of plants around and mostly all for sale. Come grab a Cappy and find a plant to take home to boot!

The only thing nicer than the coffee here were the people working here. Delicious coffee which was only rivaled by their fantastic plants. Oh and they had a fantastic assortment of breakfast options!

Great, cool spot to get some coffee. I picked up an iced coffee and nitro and both were great. I liked the calm vibe of the interior; perfect place to come in from the heat and enjoy a coffee. It must have looked really good, too because I was stopped in the street and asked where I got my coffee
