Cozy, cool decor, great drinks and food, and finally ... a room filled with pinball machines! And I know this might not matter to everyone, but all the bartenders were Gen Xers, not to mention excellent mixologists!

Fried chicken (1piece) was nice crispy over mashed potatoes, fried asparagus. Fanned out on side. All executed perfectly. Seasoned and not over cooked or over salted. Healthy list of beers.

I love this place! New owners are fantastic, same great food. The infamous chef's burger now donned the chevre burger is still phenomenal and affordably priced. One of my all time favorites in Portland and now offering breakfast!

A friend of mine loves this place so we came here for her birthday. I was surprised how it was. Everything about this place was great. Cynthia, the owner is wonderful! Her staff is great! Good food great service and just an overall great experience! Will definitely be coming back!

I love CBar and have loved it for a decade. The food has undergone several transitions during this time and it is OK right now (used to be very good). BUT the bartenders are great and it remains one of my favorite places to play pinball in the city. I think the bar changed hands recently and when that happened, OLCC reinspected the place and disallowed minors in the pinball room. This is a major bummer that keeps me from coming weekly with my teenagers.

The staff was very friendly and efficient. Lots of smiles and seem to enjoy being there. Very clean yet dive bar like atmosphere - in a good way. Food was simple and delicious. A ton of GF options. A good find while in the neighborhood.

Came in for a lil birthday brunch and got the Benedict - sooo good. The veggie gravy is wonderful and the potatoes were perfectly cooked. Arugula bell pepper topping added great flavor.
Also sick pricing on the mimosas, and one of the best relaxed spots for pinball in Portland.

The gravy actually melted the cheese curds! 😂👍It's not traditional, as the gravy is almost like a stew, with all the add-ins (spinache, bacon, carrots, mushrooms, etc)- but it was delicious AF. It has a little kick to it, so if you're not a fan of spicy, it's probably not for you.
The place was clean, atmosphere was chill & had a good ambience & the staff was friendly, helpful & on their service.
We'll definitely be back again & would definitely recommend.
