Mcmenamins Rams Head

This was THE best experience I've had at a McMenamins hands down. I was almost reluctant to go to my friend's suggestion of a McMenamins since I've had subpar experiences at many locations in the past, however, Nate made this night perfect. We were able to choose our own seats, and so we chose a comfy little corner with a tiny little table. It was just wide enough to fit our drinks and apps. We settled in for (almost 5 hours??) of wonderful service, food, drinks, and crochet. The ambience was very fitting for a cozy, rainy winter evening of good times with good people. If you are lucky enough to visit on a night when Nate is working, congratulations! 10/10 (:

Casual food in a good setting, like basically any McMenamins. Stopped by with my friend the other day and while it took a while for us to finally be seated, we were given two comfy chairs. Our waiter was a bit strange and awkward, but provided good service and kept checking up on us. He was insistent on how good the tea was, of which I got the cranberry orange. I was impressed by the flavor. The T-N-T basket is pretty consistent as in any McMenamins location, nicely battered chicken strips. I upgraded my tots to the truffle fries, which I liked as the truffle oil does not taste too strongly and the texture was crispy. Reasonable prices as well.
