Sun Hing

My family already had a bad chinese out before we tried this restaurant the following night (being on weekend getaway) The service was great but the food - i had the sweet and sour pork and the pineapple was rancid. The waitress was happy to ask for it to be redone. It came out with a load of carrots and zuccini pieces. The pork was a bit better. Then my husband had a piece of carrot and it was rancid! As well as the zuccini. No apology from the chef. Won't be back.

Great food, friendly staff and good service! All dishes ordered were very good. Haven't eaten Chinese food for years . After a tiring hard day of garage cleanout we turned up for a quick and easy meal option and were welcomed by friendly staff. Very clean restaurant, byo, lots of people picking up takeaway as well.

We were a group of 9 + a highchair and we waited half an hour before asking to order some drinks as no one had came near us since sitting down. Restaurant only had 6 other patrons at the time. We eventually ordered the banquet. After another 30minutes the first food arrived, but it was the wrong banquet. Waitress apologised and said they had to now cook the correct order. When the rest of the food came it was very dry and all the courses tasted the same. The waitresses were unsmiling and unhelpful, very sour faced, often seen to be standing around chatting to each other. Everybody agreed it was an awful night and even worse food. We were flabbergasted by the lack of service. None of us will recommend the Sun Hing to anyone. Will do the opposite

Ordered home delivery at 6.30 and was told 30 to 35 minutes. Rang at .7.30 to be told the food has not left yet and then she let slip that I wasn't even cooked. Asked for refund but they said they needed my card didn't need it to take the money. Hopeless wish I a read the reviews but I live in Port Macquarie and thought I try something different never again bloody hopeless . They just delivered my money back but couldn't deliver food. I can't comment on food but service was terrible

My family and I orded $88.20 of food tonight Chicken Curry Prawn Curry Sweet sour pork Mongolian beef rice noodles when the food was delived 40 minutes later we started to eat the food and it tasted like the food was not fresh and reheated a thew times and it wasn't tastey at all We are not fussy eaters and tried our best to eat as well as the kids but all of the food smelt horrible and had a off taste and we started to feel unwell We have been ordering from this restaurant for over 10 years and have never had a problem we called them for refund and the receptionist over the phone said they would only refund with store credit so we asked if the food was cooked fresh? She replyed yes and told me the cooks were having a bad night so we had curry chicken and mongolian delivered again 30 minutes after the call and it tasted the same as the first order We are so tired and hungrey and all our savings have been wasted on terrible food we would have saved money and time ordering pizza for less than $88.20 It is now 2 hours later and I feel so unwell from eating a couple mouthfuls of food Tomorrow morning i will be contacting the health department because this is horrible we have been ripped off and also left hungrey?!! we had to eat toast for dinner as the kids were tired Very disappointed First time we have complained about bad food as i repeat we are not fussy eaters Also we are locals who have supported this restaurant for a very long time
