Cinnamon Bay

Although the place has average or negative reviews we had a good experience. food was good n service was nice too although it did seem front and kitchen staff did struggle a bit with order turnaround but our attendant was still wearing his customer service smile. I was not expecting fine dining nevertheless came out getting my bucks worth.

I attended the restaurant today and was extremely disappointed. From the moment you step into the restaurant the lack of the staff and dozens of flies is terrible. I have given this restaurant one star but don’t believe it should even receive that. They had one staff member to greet guests, take orders and make coffees. We waited over one hour to receive our breakfast meals and they were terrible. From the presentation to the taste what an experience. Don’t bother wasting your time or money. We also received a coffee stone cold and the waiter did eventually make another one but it wasn’t his fault he’s expected to complete all tasks. I never write a review but needed to let people know as I have never in my life had an experience like this. I did complain and the waiter advised management wasn’t available so kindly refunded $19.00 but honestly they should have paid us to eat what was served. Just disgraceful.

Magnificent meal and exceptional service. The stand out waitress is Loren, very accommodating, went over and above with service. Chef, I take my hat off to you sir! You are a superstar in your kitchen. Thanks again for another amazing meal. I have guests coming to visit and Cinnamon Bay is at the top of our list of venues to dine. :-) Thanks again Loren & staff. Service was appalling, kitchen staff had no idea of time management. Although we arrived 15 minutes prior to two other tables compromising of 6 & 5 persons, and we ordered our meals prior to them their meals came out first. When ours did come to our table only half the orders came and we still had to wait so much longer. The service was so bad that the kitchen staff prepared three vegetarian breakfast when only one was ordered. The manager then advised us that they would bring out the meat portions separate. Fair enough, but even then kitchen staff could not get that right. We just about finished the vegetarian breakfast when the chrizo portion came out, then a further 5 minute wait for the bacon. Simply disgraceful. As for the coffees and table service. Not once did the coffee attendant acknowledge us neither did the wait person. Definitely had been well groomed on "make sure you don't give eye contact to patrons". When finally we got the wait persons attention wanting the menus she looked at us as "what you want the menus". When the coffees arrived (wrong orders) we had to ask for sugar, then had to get her attention again to ask for spoons. We then asked for salt and pepper which was found but not placed on our table but a table next to us. To add to the pain we went up to the bar coffee area and asked for two beers the chap got them and placed then at the other end of the bar counter, no where near where we ordered them. We then had to ask for them and he says "oh you want to take them to your table". He definitely had no intention of moving from the coffee machine. To make matters even more upsetting there was a total of four tables occupied the whole time the restaurant was open. One of those tables had finished and left before our first order of coffees had arrived. And this folks happened on Mothers Day, our booking was for 10 am for 10 people. This is the second time we have been to this establishment and it will definitely be our last. I gave a one star rating as the female manager was so apologic.

Left a review on Seasons5. Received a response claiming it was “not their restaurant” that I had visited and I am just defaming them. It’s a pattern I’ve come to notice to a lot of the bad reviews they have received Well the first picture is the menu they have uploaded on the internet and the second picture is the one I took of the menu.

Hi, I gave three stars as my friend ordered the breakfast which had bacon and for religious beliefs she doesn't eat it so she asked for it to be replaced with something else and the waiter said they cannot do it....so she went without the bacon...put a sour taste in our mouth as it's really simple to accommodate!!!
