The Bagel Pit

As I walked through the pristine glass doors I was treated by a small man. Very small who ushered me into the dining room and said “I will be right with you” and I turned to say take you time he had vanished. As I went to my seat I was thinking about what bagel I wanted and decided on the “New Yorker.” To my surprise the bagel was laid out perfectly on the table with a note that said “just as you wished.”

Love it so much, we're regulars! Fresh bagels, good coffee, sandwiches are tasty and generously portioned. The friendly staff, whimsical chalk art, and clean/casual atmosphere make it an ideal start to a Saturday or Sunday. We often say, ". . . but first, the Bagel Pit". Thanks for a consistently great experience.

I love going to the Bagel Pit. I don't mind waiting a while for service, but when I get to the counter to order I expect a little hospitality. The person taking my order had a rude attitude to not only myself, but also tossing customers orders in front of them when it took longer than 3 seconds for them to get up and grab it themselves. I understand a busy day causes stress, but if you work with the public you have to learn to set it aside and put your best foot forward. The food is always great, but the service today was disappointing.
