Mignon

One of my favorite fine dining restaurants in Plano area. The rack of lamb and mignon are delicious, the lobster macaroni and cheese cooked just right. It is a good place to celebrate special occasions, because it’s definitely not cheap. The mash potato tasted like packaged mashed potato, which is disappointing. I think the drinks are a bit overpriced. I agree with the other reviewer, it’s not a $$. We spent about $100 per person before tips.

On mother's day at 5pm.....great service and delicious food. Calamari appetizer. Heirloom tomato salad appetizer for starters......We got the California style halibut and it was amazing as well as the ribeye with whipped potatoes which was very good. The pricing is a wee bit more than I expected although it was all a great time and we enjoyed ourselves.

Top-secret best steak I have ever eaten. Debbie and I showed up early we got a beautiful table out on the patio. Our server Lina was very attentive the atmosphere was great. The service was prompt. Lina suggested the wagu filet. It was the best steak Debbie and I have ever had. It was a melt in your mouth experience. I would highly recommend this place. I’ve been here many times over the last 20 plus years, but this was by far the best dinner Deb and I have ever had. Nick the owner came out to describe his plans for cooking this fabulous piece of meat. I appreciated that it added to the experience. When I want great service and a fabulous steak I’m coming here. Debbie says “we will be back”

A true gem of Plano for fine dining in a romantic setting. The staff is consistently excellent where service is top notch. Their menu is concise and every dish well thought out. Be sure to ask about the specials! Highly recommend coming here for any occasion! We have been customers for over a year, and it's always on the top of our list for dinner picks when we're wanting a romantic evening. Ask for Lena!

Much gratitude to our awesome waitress, Elizabeth and the entire staff for a wonderful dining experience! My niece and I visited Mignon's to celebrate a (not so happy) anniversary and our spirits were lifted. We walked in to a warm welcome, were seated at a nice table in the patio area with a gorgeous view and setting. Since this was our first time visiting, we had a few questions about the menu options and Elizabeth patiently answered ALL our questions and made knowledgeable suggestions according to our preferences and we were not disappointed! KUDOS to the chef(s) who improvised and substituted to make sure our preferences were accommodated. The service and food was impeccable and Mignon's is now on our list of FAVS!
