Come here often. I love everything and swear their Miso Soup is the best Iv'e ever had. Been eating Japanese food since the book Shogun came out in the 80's! Ruby's is more of an old style place. Prices are great . Food is always fresh. Great little place (by the Starbucks).

Kids wanted fast food but I didn't, so on the way there I saw Ruby and decided to try. It was Saturday night and they had many orders, so there was a wait. I had the Sushi Sashimi and the fish was so fresh. I think I ate it so deliciously that my kids requested to try the tuna roll. To my surprise, they loved it! Definitely will return again and will call in my order instead.

Ruby Sushi is wonderful. The choices for bento boxes everyone can find something they will love. The sushi is fresh and delicious and the wait staff is friendly and attentive.

Nice little mom and pop shop sushi restaurant. Fast service and outstanding quality overall. I have nothing negative to comment on Ruby. It is a local favorite and I will definitely be going back. Ingredients are fresh and they make amazing rolls.

High quality food with great services. Lunch options are very cheap and the dinner menu offers a two entree option that'll certainly fill you up and a decent price. The restaurant is clean and the quality of the food is beyond excellent. One of the best restaurants in all of Plainview!

Nice simple sit down ambiance. It's hard to find a place in 2019 in Long Island to find a lunch special for $8 (including weekends). Soup and Salad are included in your choice of entree all for $8. Lunch special entrees included crispy red snapper, beef nagamaki, udon noodles, pad thai,etc. Male waiter is friendlier (attitude) than female waiter (on Sundays).

Best sushi. Great cuts of fish. Minimal rice which is a good thing ifdiabetic. Great price for beer. My benchmark for all other sushi restaurants.

Been here plenty of times. Never had a bad meal and the prices are on point. Also keep an eye out for groupons. Would definitely recommend.

The wonton soup was the perfect start before another possible snow storm, and the two rolls that I had (Mets and Beijing Duck), both with duck, were AMAZING!

I like it but some of the waiters could be a little bit more "happier" and relaxed. Looked like some did not like being there. Food is good and the place is clean.

Been coming here for dinner almost weekly for over a month now; always excellent food and service. Order the shrimp tempura roll, you won't be disappointed.

I am not certain as to why this place has gotten bad reviews. I have been coming here for years with my family. The quality of food here has gotten better since I first came here. The quality of fish is always very fresh. I have tried many different dishes and they have all been very good.
I will continue to come here and I suggest you try it yourself, as well.
