Franktuary

Stopped in for a drink and a few small bites while waiting for takeout from an another place. Not busy for a Saturday and we were seated right away. Waiter was so friendly. He explained the new pandemic rules about food with drinks. We ordered a Poutine Quebecois and a Pittsburgh Dog. Wow the poutine is good. I mean unbelievably good. They were fresh cut fresh that were actually crispy (many places it's just soggy). The star though was the gravy they drizzle over the fries. It was peppery, salty, homey goodness. I would buy it bottled if I could. Pittsburgh dog was delicious. The hot dog meat was the stand out. It was a thicker dog with a snappy case. Really beefy tasting and filling. Loved the pierogis on top. Mustard sauce was a bit spicy, but nothing a quick sip of beer couldn't put out. Excellent draft list and great service really made this place an memorable stop.

Our server was Kelly. She was very nice, responsive, and accommodating. Great drink selection, food was delicious, nice atmosphere. 3 free parking spaces in the back, if you're lucky. There was a handicap accessible bathroom stall with a changing table. I didn't pay attention to the ease of access at the entrance.

Been here once before. Neat space with nice atmosphere. The food was tasty and ingredients seemed good quality. Fun meal items for the kids. They cooked a hot dog to look like 2 octopi. The speciality dogs were good but I was surprised the dogs weren't larger. I was expecting something closer to a brat or at least a little larger than standard, but not really. Seemed to have a good beer list. Staff was nice but service was a little slow. They didn't bring our appetizer out before the meal for some reason so we were waiting around hungry for a while. Overall good experience. I'd definitely recommend this spot for lovers of hot dogs. We don't live close by but will probably be back again.
