I’ve been going to see Bruce for years and always had incredible service and food is phenomenal. I’ve had him cater multiple large parties and get togethers. As you can see my grill is always happy to see meat from the Chopping Block.

This is the last time I ever go into there. I paid $100 for two steaks and seasoning today! The steaks were $39.99 a lb! Right down the way Anderson meats had the exact type for $14.99 a lb. What a rip off. I swear he sees who is coming and just comes up with a price. And $20+ for a bottle of seasoning??? NEVER AGAIN!

Stopped in at 5 pm this Saturday paid 40 a pound for ribeyes. Not complaining on price instead of giving me two fresh cuts of the loin gives me one and the other that has been laying in the tray all day. One and done.

This place is really awesome! Best food we had in really long time. I loved looking around at all the nostalgia. The owner was so nice and the desserts are to die for, you must try the cheesecake!!

I'll never go anywhere else for a filet! Bruce always has the best meat and is willing to order anything I'd like! The alligator andouille I got from him was out of this world! Great guy and great local business.

Each time I've been into the Chopping Block, Bruce has greeted me as I walk through the door. Even during these trying times (COVID and all), he's had a smile on his face.
I've been to other local butcher shops and always feel a little awkward. Bruce makes you feel right at home, as if you've been a regular for years. I definitely would recommend dropping in.
Sandwiches have been great! And meat is always excellent. He does everything he can to help you make the best choice for what you need.

My family love the steaks from here. Bruce always has something great cooking for his lunch menu, too. He always goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy with their purchase.

Was very impressed with the stock even during this 'shortage'. We got 4 steaks and some massive shrimp. Some of the best steaks I have had. I would like to come back when they are fully stocked to get a full feel of it. And even try some of their sandwiches for lunch.
