Planned to go next door to the ice cream place and noticed this next door. I purchased 4 items just as they were closing. Everything I tried was good. Definitely recommend.

I ordered a 10” Fresh Fruit & Cream cake for my Mom’s birthday. The cake was very good. The cake itself is a sponge cake. It was light and bouncy and not dry. The fruit filling was very fresh and there was A LOT of fresh fruit in between the layers of sponge cake. The whipped cream frosting was super light and airy and not too sweet at all. It was a beautiful cake and my Mom was SO happy when she saw the cake. She had two servings and kept the cake. Normally she would never have a second serving and always sends the left overs home with guests but she kept the rest of the cake for herself. That’s how much she liked it. The only thing I would have done differently would be to forgo the writing on the cake. The writing was a little bit hard to read and really, the cake was just beautiful without it. Next time, I’ll just leave it blank.
Customer service is AMAZING! The woman who took my order and was there for pickup was very nice and accommodating. We forgot our wallet and she had Apple Pay so we were still able to pay for our order without having to drive 30 minutes back across town.

The cakes with fresh fruit, very light cake and whipped cream covering are as tasty and nice as they always have. The same with the seasonal mocha yule logs. Asahi Bakery makes the best tasting cakes, pastries and other deserts in Phoenix.

Love their cakes: fruits, mango, coffee are what I’ve tried. All good & will go back. Not too sweet or colorful like American cakes.

This is place always carries the best cake ever. Low sugar, fresh fruit and ingredients. The creamy is creamy taste yet refreshing. Our family always order Asahi cake for all of the events or just satisfy the craving birthday cake every time. We regularly order Fresh Fruit cake, Taro Cake (recommended), Green Tea Cake. Recommended for bakery lovers!

This place is awesome. Always super fresh and quick. Amazing staff. We have an avocado intolerance (which is in like every type of sushi) and they made sure to take it out of all of our rolls! Now that’s great customer care!
