Old Country Buffet

I mean it's a buffet, the food is good and it is among the cleaner buffets which is good because every golden coral or home town buffet I have eaten at was gross. I feel like I am going to get an STD from a buffet so I don't usually go to them but this place is an exception for me. also it's nostalgic since I have been periodically eating at this place for the last 18 years. the people are nice and the prices are good.

The good: They have Decent food, Decent Variety, "something for everyone" even my picky kids! Lol.. 3 & 8yr old. Price is also Decent. The Bad: The bad is not even that bad. But, if they Brighten up the place, just a little. I believe they would Gain & retain more Customers. Employees are not rude at all. But, they could be a little more cheerful, welcoming, Helpful. "Just make the visit a little more pleasant" You do want your customers to come back right? Also, the plates are very used & beat up. The one I happened to use has a huge gouge in it and all seem to be pretty scratched up. A plate I wouldn't use in my home shouldn't be used in a restaurant. "Just my opinion" Lastly, it's time for the Carpet to be replaced. "In my opinion" So to Sum it up, Train employees a little customer service skills, brighten the place up.Minimum of Replacing Dishes, and Replacing Carpet. With this done, I would Gladly give this place A 5 star rating. And I am Certain, more people would come And you would have more repeat customers!! I DO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! GOOD FOOD, GOOD PRICE, GOOD VARIETY.!!!

We've been going here for years. The place never fails to please. I had salad and orange chicken, my wife had fish. It's always good. If you've got an appetite this is the place. Service is great, and the restrooms are clean. This place has been there so long for a reason. They do a brisk business here, and it's always crowded, but worth it.

Other than the fried chicken having no flavor, nor the green beans, and the guy cutting the roast beef paper thin and thinking that one slice is enough, smh, it was delicious. Their sodas always taste fresh like JUST changed it. The ice cream is on point and their stuffing is phenomenal. I would go here more often. A little pricey to go all the time, but every once in a while is good.

Food was delicious! Been hesitant about going back as I wasn't impressed a couple of years ago but the chefs have discovered seasoning and flavor! The steak is worth the extra $3 and cooked to perfection! The meatloaf was well seasoned, the baked fish didn't have that fishy taste and the coleslaw was nice and creamy and I'm a picky eater when it comes to those items. Will definitely go back!

The food was simply delicious!!! Parents just need to be mindful of allowing their children to go to buffet alone. I saw one lil girl pick up some corn bread, smelled it and put it back in the pan. I immediately told the table waiter and she did immediately dispose that pan of cornbread and came back with a fresh pan. I thought that was really nice! I will definitely be back. Great food, great staff and great service!!! 👍👍👍

The food was very good especially the brisket and the roast beef and the baked chicken. Corn on the cob mashed potatoes all work excellent the coffee was wonderful restaurant style coffee fresh. The only thing I think could be improved would be the desserts could be a little better but overall the food is fantastic the place was clean and the servers were nice with smiles.
