Avis sur Original Gravity

Met a couple of friends here. A few patrons were there and we decided to sit at the bar. Before we knew it, it was a packed house. Christian was the only server, so our orders took a bit but we didn’t mind. He was hustling, trying to accommodate everyone and still with a smile! I ordered the blackberry margarita. To be honest, I didn’t taste the alcohol much—almost like a sweet drink; which is dangerous bc before I knew it, I felt the buzz! Ordered another, along with a Cali Creamin’. As suggested, I ordered the Bees Knees crispy chicken sandwich. Oh my goodness! Perfect crunch, packed with flavor, juicy chicken accompanied with sweet potato fries. I was full before I knew it. I was eyeing the pork belly appetizer but I ended up with the edamame. That sauce used on the edamame is officially one of my favorites now! My daughter is a vegetarian and sometimes has a hard time finding a dish she actually enjoys—she got the veggie burger and was delighted. So, it’s safe to say, she’ll return as well. I definitely will be back. There are other dishes I want to try, along with cocktails. Service was amazing…the time for our orders was no issue for me. I will return.

Second time trying their food on location. First was via delivery and I knew I had to go there in person. Firstly, you MUST have their IPA Glazed Pork Belly! It's officially on my craving list. And so is their Steak Frites. Perfectly seasoned melt in your mouth cut of steak cooked exactly to order, fries were delicately crisp on the outside and tasty potato-ey fluffy goodness inside; but the piece de resistance was the insanely delicious whole cloves of roasted garlic throughout. My mouth is already watering just remembering every treasured bite. Original Gravity is that wonderful neighborhood pub you almost want to keep a secret and not share but even if beer's not your cup of tea, they serve a wonderfully delicious Old Fashioned. I had a sip of each of a flight of their most popular non-IPA beers - don't ask, I personally dig IPAs, lol - sometimes, you can't choose your dinner mate's preferences. Just a sip of that flight and I was greatly impressed. They won me over with their food, though, and I most definitely will be back! Don't forget, PORK BELLY! Yum.

Used our Pub Pass. Good service at the bar. Haven't been here for a few years, even though we live pretty close. Will have to come back soon. We only had beers this trip since we were bar hopping. Will look for 5 stars when we try the food 😊 The hazy IPA was great. I also liked that the menu was on Untappd so we could check it out beforehand.

The food in my opinion was good quality , and tasty. The small , but Quaint atmosphere was enjoyable. The menu has a good selection of appetizers and drinks. I did get the cali creamin beer. I've had it before it is a personal favorite of mine. The service was fairly prompt. I did have to go up to the bar to close out my table. I think my waitress just got a little busy. Overall I would come back here to try it again.

I'd driven past this place countless times and finally stopped in for lunch. We loved the atmosphere. It kinda has a sports bar vibe, but it's chic and intimate at the same time. Mike was our bartender and made us feel so welcome. He was very kind and has good conversation. The food was delicious and we didn't wait too long for it. We'll definitely visit again!!! 5+ stars from us to infinity and back!!!! 😊

Great watering hole spot. I can see why many people are regulars here. Comfortable atmosphere, great drink selection, awesome food. Polenta fries were nothing short of perfection. Veggie tacos were so good with perfectly balanced flavor. My boyfriend got the impossible burger and loved it. Fries were top notch too. We’ll be back!

Loved everything about it. Server and chef were top notch and kind, very fun and personable during the meal. Drinks were eclectic and delicious, and the from scratch food was incredible. Friend had the buffalo chicken and that sauce is on point Af, and I had the monster beef dip sandwich and sweet potato fries and it’s was Devine. Also the humus and the beignets and just gorgeous mouth feelings were had.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stop and eat after we flew into Phoenix, and I found this place that had good reviews. The food and service exceeded our expectations! If we didn’t have such an early flight to go back home, we would’ve stopped by on our way to the airport! Despite working alone, Genesis was so attentive and super friendly, we loved her! She is a gem! I had a cheeseburger, and my boyfriend had the Beef on Weck! We also had some local IPAs and a couple of cocktails. We loved everything. We would be regulars if we lived out there. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

I've been to this great little bar restaurant before and I remembered really liking it. Going back a couple years later, they have elevated the experience with a menu of a lot of basics done exceptionally well. It's a hip little place and a modern plaza in Central Phoenix with a nice patio, a good size bar, and table seating. Great service from Genesis and 20 beers on tap along with a nice wine and cocktail selection. Try the polenta fries, garlic hummus was excellent and I don't know what they do to the french fries, but there's something with the texture that makes them stand out

Nice little craft beer tavern off the beaten path. I went there because I heard they had Beef on Weck on the menu and that's not a common menu item outside of western New York. It was very good! I do wish they offered real horseradish on the side as is standard when ordering B.O.W. in WNY, but that's a detail that only a WNYer would care about and the sandwich itself was great. My wife had a chicken sandwich that was good also. The fries were good and they also offer "greens" as a side, which is basically a small side salad that was also good. It looked like they had at least a hundred different kinds of beer, so if you're into craft beer and trying different brands this is definitely a place you should try and come back to many times.

The food and atmosphere were great, the only thing better was their wine, beer and MEAD selection! I got their Bees Knees chicken sandwich, my wife got a chef special Bacon Wrapped Filet Minion. She paired it with Superstition Meadery best and we wrapped it up with some fantastic bignets. We will be back!

Cool, semi-hidden and low key spot that has an amazing selection of craft beverages and interesting take on food options. Our visit led to some interesting conversation with the bartenders, along with cool music and some sick photographic art pieces on the walls from Burning Man. Would definitely return here, if not for simply the beer options alone!
