Nice little spot for some good Mexican food. All food was like how nana makes it. One item that stood out was the rice. Im extremely hard to please when it comes to rice. This rice was the most flavorful and cooked perfectly I've ever had ever. Only thing I would change is a spicier salsa for the chips but I do like my salsa spicy spicy.

Long time north central restaurant. Local treasure. Best salsa around. Excellent traditional Sonoran Mexican food. Home made tortillas. Great staff. Reasonable prices.

I am honored to be a patron at this establishment for almost 20 years. They changed ownership a couple years ago, but still kept it in the same family. They remodeled a few things, kept the same traditional menu, and continue to treat everyone who walks through the door like they are guests in their home for a meal. The bright colors, gorgeous mural, and numerous paintings, give you something to look at every time you visit.

Good food overall. most remarkable is the salsa. They use fresh tomatoes which are very hydrating in the summer time. Thank you!

I thought the service was great! Everyone was very friendly. However, personally, I found the food a bit bland. The only thing I really liked were the refried beans. They were seasoned well. I didn't like getting charged for chips and salsa.

It's been almost 40 yrs since we've visited El Bravo. The next generation is making the family proud. Their food is as fresh, homemade, delicious as it was when we started visiting decades ago. Service was excellent, food arrived quickly and hot! We enjoyed yummy homemade salsa, no jar stuff here. The chimi's were packed full of shredded beef and not shy on the guacamole, sour cream, cheese and other toppings. Our chile relleno was great as well. It didn't have that extra thick eggs batter that so many places use. We won't wait another 40 years to return.

Holy cow! The food is so good! My husband and 2 boys were almost crying while eating the food. Its just so good! We always order food for 2 meals. One for dinner and then one for the next day.

Delicious food. The chile verde reminded me of the homemade one my family makes. The burrito was so delicious. The food tastes like authentic Mexican food. Michelada was perfect on a hot day.

I’m very picky about my green chili so I reluctantly ordered it for lunch today at El Bravo and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious food and very pleasant staff just wish I lived or worked closer. I would ignore the comments that talk about lacking authenticity as those comments are ignorant like all Mexican regions have the same style food. Makes as much sense as someone going to a southern restaurant in the U.S. and expecting it to taste like a restaurant on the west coast and claiming their American food lacks authenticity when the south is clearly different than the west coast, which is different from midwest which is different from the northeast, etc. Many who live in Arizona and have ties to Mexico (which is many of us) simply think all Mexican food should taste like what they ate growing up which is obviously influenced by where in Mexico our exposure was, not tasting like what these people grew up on does not mean it lacks authenticity.
