Torres Cafe

I told my mother to go pick up some frituras for my co workers and I. So im here trying to figure out how 5 rellenos, 5 alcapurrias, 5 beef empanadas, 5 chicken empanas & 5 pizza empanadas came out to $83. Ridiculously over priced and they weren’t even all that. I used to go here every day before work all the time prior to covid for frituras. The last few times i’ve gone the food was not the same, even to the point where the beans once were completely bad/rotten with bubbles, foam, bad smell and all. I knew something was not right. I thought i was just being picky & pregnant but no, my partner and co workers agreed with me. I’ve gone a few times just giving it the benefit of doubt it has yet to prove me wrong. Im not sure whats going but this place has gone down hill! Im so disappointed. OVERPRICED & DEFINITELY NOT AUTHENTIC PUERTO RICAN FOOD at least not any more. Im completely done with this place! If you are a REAL boricua you would know this food taste is far from home. These people should ashamed to be called a Puerto Rican restaurant sorry not sorry lol

This place never disappoints, food is outstanding and the staff is friendly and courteous. They offer a variety of dishes daily as well as finger foods (empanadas, surrullitos, alcapurrias...even morcilla). The seasoning is on point and not greasy like in other places. I highly recommend Torres Cafe, you will not be disappointed.
