Waffle House

The waffle House was very clean and well run. Our server was excellent and kept on top of everything. A group of about 10 teenagers came in and sat down at a booth and were crowding around it right next to us and they explained to them that only five per booth and had part of them sit somewhere else. The teens were fine they were just hanging out but they were quick to disperse them so that they weren't right on top of us. I asked for an extra crispy waffle and they gave me one. Often that is not remembered. Everything was cooked to order and Waffle House delicious.

It's a clean Waffle House serving the Georgia Fairgrounds and I-75. The staff is "Southern cordial", the cooks make the food that is on the laminated menu very well! I do compare Waffle House sweet tea makers..They do it right and brew it with REAL sugar here. I think it's a Waffle House tradition. No Waffle House and brewed sweet tea up North.....Yet!

My father & I were supposed to meet up at this establishment & I ended up having to cancel our meal together; my father chose to eat anyway & the staff were so RUDE to him (telling him he couldn’t sit at a booth, he had to sit at the high top -he’s older & can’t always sit in a high top seat!- etc) only to treat their “friends” that came in later (2 apparently who sat by themselves IN BOOTHS, not high tops like my father was told he HAD to do!) & we’re treated like kings while my father’s order got pushed back & then part of it served cold (cause it SAT ON THE COUNTER while the “friends” -that came in later- were served ahead of him 😡
