Went here for a lunch with my daughter, the Gluten Free options are fantastic and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

My social club held a Christmas party at the Bears Head. The staff were very helpful and accomodating and they decorated the area beautifully. We had the buffet they provided.The food wss delicious with a lot of vegetarian options …

I can thoroughly recommend The Bear's Head as an excellent heart of the community in Penarth with a very friendly and helpful staff, great food and welcoming atmosphere. A particular 'thank you' to all the team who worked so hard over Christmas and New Year to keep the morning gang going.

Spent a few hours here waiting for my MOT and the staff were lovely, there's refillable coffee and tea, the breakfast was gorgeous (im a picky eater so thats high praise) and there was a booth available with low lighting which suited me perfectly. Would definitely recommend

Always been a good pub, and when the new owners took over from spoons we were concerned. However, they have done a good job. Nice beer at a good price. Shame about all the smokers outside though on both sides of the seating areas
