Worst meal I ever received. Smallest portions imaginable. I ordered two three-piece dinners each one had about nine uncooked fries and each one had one small ice cream scoop of mac & cheese. I had to cook the fries in an air fryer what you see in the pictures was for two orders. Keep in mind that each meal is $8.69 plus tax. I highly recommend you pick a different restaurant!

My skin crawled when I opened up the box and saw all of the crumbs. I visited Captain Ds in Pelham on 6/15/2022 in the later part of the evening. I do not know who thought it was appropriate to serve food this way. I initially could not even find the fish, as it was buried under mountains of crumbs, so the photo was taken after I fished out the filets from under the crumbs. Also, it appears that the filets are getting smaller and smaller. I remember back in the day when the fish servings were of a decent size.

I ordered fish with a side of okra. The okra was cold and old. Not sure how that happened when that's a special item. Very odd. The two ounce tartar sauce contain they gave was half full and not enough for one whole piece of fish. This fish broken into pieces when I got it. Which was okay. I gave a score of three because I wasn't in line long and the fish was hot.

The drive thru service coupled with the raw food I brought back to the hotel with me makes me wish I hadn't wasted my time. This was the absolute WORST experience I've had at one of these establishments and a possible game changer for me. To top it off, no one will answer the phone for me to even let them know they're serving undercooked food. I have no desire to have it replaced, but as a former manager of a restaurant- I'd want to know if my cooks and line staff didn't know what fully cooked food should look like.

Great Captain D's! We dined in at this location on Friday, June 17th (around 5pm) and the food and service were awesome! The cashier had a smile on her face, the lobby and bathrooms were clean, our orders were made correctly, and the food (fish, okra and fries) was hot and fresh. We will definitely be back soon.

I received great drive thru service this past Saturday. The food was hot and fresh. The lady (A.M.) was friendly and she was a pleasant worker. I wanted to add some jalepeno poppers to the order at the window and she didn't have an attitude or grumble over the ask. I had to call the corporate number to give her praise as soon as I left.

Only giving 3 stars bc the employees were absolutely awesome. However, we got two deluxe platters and a kids meal. $27. I highly expected my food to be good and fresh. I got just the opposite. I thought my Cole slaw tasted funny but my husband had vinegar so I honestly thought it was just me smelling it or maybe he accidentally got it near my food somehow I guess. Nope! Soured coleslaw. Then my shrimp were slimey, soft, and gross. I opened one to find it was still very pink inside. Nowhere near done. My daughter's chicken was the same way. I understand things happen but I was so exhausted and wanted a good hot meal. I wish it had been better *Please note I did not ask for replacements. Idk why .. anxiety I guess! 😆 I did let them know on my way out they should check the Cole slaw before serving again though.
