Church's Chicken

I visited this place last night and the service seemed excellent at first, but as soon as I left I checked my order and it was not what I had paid for. The chicken tenders where scraps, uncooked and some overcooked a mix of everything sloppy and also instead of giving me chicken strips because I assume they ran out they decided to drop in a chicken wing in one of the boxes which I never ordered it was suppose to be chicken tenders. It was sloppy and horrible. I went back to request my money and they just dismissed me because they were already closed. Never again!

***I noticed this place has 138 reviews and not once do you see where a manager or owner acknowledged any of them.. no thank you's, apologies, "give us a second chance" replies or anything... that says A LOT! *** I'm writing this review because I stopped here after seeing the smokehouse bird was back. I usually go to a different church's but since I was near this one I stopped. That was a huge mistake! The chicken was nothing like the smokehouse chicken I get at the other 2 locations. It was so dried out and hard, had dark brown liquid all over the box and on the biscuit and the fried okra was so hard I couldn't even chew them. I have no idea why they would serve this to anyone. (I have attached a photo). I ordered 2 combos and didnt look at them until I was home and wow what a huge disappointment. $11 and change WASTED!! I'll never stop at this one again!!! I should have called for a refund but I didn't feel like driving all the way back. Plus I had already waited in the drive thru about 15 minutes.

This place is randomly closed at times, doesn't adhere to its own business hours. Lobby was closed, no sign pointing to use drive thru so I went elsewhere. Edit 4/30: I drove by this place about four times this week and it was closed every time. I don't know why the owner keeps labeling it as open. I would give this place negative Stars if I could.

I was very disappointed here. I pulled up to the drive through at 11:30am to get something and there was no one attending the drive through. So I thought I'd go to the front and there was one girl just getting out of the one car parked in front of the store so I thought I'd go in and order. Nope.....she walked in and turned around and locked the door. I did notice a sign that the drive through was the only way to order so I decided to try it again. Again I sat there and no help at all. So I left and went to Popeye's. I will definitely not be going back to this churches. I don't recommend it either!!

I visited this location on Main St. The front door was locked children sitting inside. I drove to the drive thru order the Bourbon chicken. I open the box and noticed the chicken was dry and overcooked. I attempted to take it back for something else or a refund. The manager stated..." No returns or refunds due to covid'...WTH

I arrived at this place to feed my family after work. The drive window shows that they are still open an selling their products till 9pm. I arrived there at 8:20pm they refused my service because they wanted to shut down their fryer to clean it out so they can leave at 9pm. Alexis informed me that churches refuses to pay them after 9pm. If that is true then y'all need to fix your signs stating you stop taking orders at 8pm instead of wasting my gas thinking y'all would take my order I didnt exspect your company/employee would refuse my service after your signs are stating your open for bussiness. I also asked for her boss or area coach number to talk to them. she refuses to give me that as well. This is a food industry and your suppose to make your customers happy not treat us as I was treated. If alexis is your store shift leader or manager then she needs alot of work done on her custmer service.

At 1:45pm on August 19, 2021 at the Church's Chicken in Pearland 1909 N Main St the door was locked first of all and the sign say drive thru only I went to buy a 3pc once I got the chicken it looked like it had been refried and dry as hell, so I asked could I have some fresh chicken and Leticia told me that it is fresh and that I could not get a refund because of covid-19 and would not give me my money or fresh chicken. I should have known better when the inside is locked at 2:00 PM in the daytime. I will NEVER go there again 💯
