First timer...went with my bestie, sat at the bar. Great atmosphere! We're long time pub fans, and we felt immediately at home. Bartender was amazing, recommended a great draft we've never had before. Friendly, attentive, made menu recommendations, immediately fixed a problem with our appetizer. I wish I had gotten her name..she was awesome.
The food was OK....7 out of 10. Not bad, but not noteworthy. We shared a spinach dip app...was so cheesy hard on top, it wouldn't "dip". A reheat made it better, but it was still tough to handle. My lobster bisque was very generous with nice chunks of lobster, but kinda lacked the "bisque" element, and a little over salty. Chicken wings were dry. My pal just packed her entree to go, so can't comment. She was too over-cheesed by the spinach dip. All in all, would definitely go back. The drink, the staff, the atmosphere...all aces. Food? Will give it another shot with different choices..the place was too good otherwise not to try again.

Kitchen staff was nice enough to serve us breakfast even though we walked in 15 minutes until it ended. Food was excellent, atmosphere always great!! Thank you

For the last two Sunday mornings, my wife and I have gone for Brunch at VIP. Amazing is the only word to describe it. Friendly staff, great food, great drinks, and to top it off Live music. Anyone up for brunch, I would recommend this place.

Nice place. Food was excellent. Service was good. It did start to fill up with customers after we got there. But I absolutely recommend the Village Idiot for the food, service and comfortable atmosphere.

The food was good. It was after lunch, and it was still busy, which is a good thing. I had a custom sanchwich, and it was great. I met a few veterans, especially Marine Veterans. It was a good talk. Not the best photos best I was hungry 😁 and taste was satisfying.

I met a friend I hadn't seen in almost 40 years here, and I am unable have alcohol at this time. The atmosphere was enough to tell me to come back when I am cleared to drink again. I'll update this review accordingly after my next time here.

The food was pretty good but the staff was outstanding. We had the sweetest waitress ever. Nothing fancy as I expected but pretty good overall.
