Brass Rail Pub

Hadnt gone there for over a decade. Probably will be another decade or more before I visit again. They do not allow you to run a tab, draft beer selection is limited. Whole operation is pretty low budget, and entertainment includes beer pong. Used to be one of my favorite spots years ago when I lived in the area, was hopeful that it would have been the same or better when I moved back to the 'dena.

I’ve enjoyed certain aspects of the bar. The game Day bus is great and the bar can be a nice dive when. It crowded. However it is extremely dangerous dispute appearing low-key. Not to the fault of management but it just happens to be a haven for criminals, drug addicts and low lives on Wednesdays. On two occasions someone have tried to enter my car as I was leaving. That’s insane! I went some to play pool and could have been robbed or worse.

I love the Brass Rail, It has a great friendly atmosphere, the barmaids are the best around. You have many regulars that come into the bar, ( daytime / nighttime ) some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Also a great place to play a game or two of pool with many tables so there is usually no wait to play. During the summer you cant miss out on the boat they have open outside on Sundays with either a band or Dj. The prices are reasonable and with the package goods there on site you can get what you need when you leave without making another stop. During the week on certain nights they bring in the best Djs in all of Pasadena. This is one bar you will not feel out of place going to as the staff and regulars make sure you feel at home!

I love the rail... Others on here complaining about cash only or its conditions or whatvever... The bar is what it is! My friends and neighbors all love the rail. The owners are awesome, Miss Edna and Ed along with Stacy the daughter/grand daughter. Its not the cleanest or newest bar but it has character and has been there for 30 years.
