Philz Coffee

Visiting from Australia. 2 stars for ambience. I ordered a small Latte. I should have listened to the girl when she asked "do you want cream with that?). Really? A Latte, with added cream? Got coffee. It was a drip coffee - nasty and bitter, with milk thrown in. "Oh we only do small batch drip coffee". We'll, why didn't you say that when I ordered a LATTE. Won't go back... Geez...

Parking is a bit tricky, you can park on Lake or in the lake lots across the street south of this location. There is also a small 15 minute pickup area parking in the alley and a parking structure I believe Coffee is fantastic no matter what you get and pricing structure makes it very easy to order; wish there were more locations!

I've been here about 3x my first time ever being here the customer service was a 10/10. The girl at the register was very helpful and even explained every single drink to me, she was so kind. Unfortunately the second time I went it was terrible and it wasn't even busy !! Not that it would make it any better. I remember asking the girl at the register a question just for reassurance and she replied back to me like if I was dumb anyways she just had a nasty attitude. The coffee has been delicious every time I've been here definitely recommend.

This Pasadena location was 2 years old . Philz personalized 30 unique blends and wanted to make sure the coffee making process embodied a personal and social feel, so he designed his own coffee station allowing for every cup to be crafted one cup at a time. This location is awesome , Philz supports local artist to allow them to display their artworks in his store.. When you walk in to the store, you can smell the coffee, enjoy the varieties of the bread and loving in this artistic environment.
