John's Restaurant

It's a vintage diner experience. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing. The menu is large and diverse. This was our first time eating here. We're looking forward to working our way through the many different plates served. This is a must stop for visitors from out of town. If you're local to palm springs this restaurant should be on your list of "go to" places

I spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Palm Springs. John's Is one of my favorite places to dine each time I visit Palm Springs. They have a large and varied menu and the prices are very reasonable. I've been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food and service are excellent. I have never been disappointed there. Keep up the great work!!

Stopped in for some lunch. We ordered at the counter and then seated ourselves. We sat at a large table for 4. Our lunch was soon brought to our table. We all order Chinese chicken salad and a coke. The salad was huge and delicious ! You can only eat about half. Everything was clean and the air conditioning was on. A great value here. Lunch for 4 people with the tip was less than $100.00 !

Order at the counter, get a number and pick your table and wait. Quick service. Now to the food … cob salad was great! Others in our group had burgers that were very good also. Little one had chicken fingers that were also very good. Sandwich’s come with fries. Old diner feel with plenty of seating. Would go there again.

Great diner food especially for breakfast!!! John's has a variety of dishes on their menu - from salads, to sandwiches, to platters and so much more. Ordered the French Toast set that comes with sausage or bacon and egg - a meal packed with the right flavours and textures from the burnt edges of the French toast. We also ordered the Country Fried Steak plate which was also very delicious and filling. The other dish we ordered was the Bacon plate with egg, toast, and a huge hash brown. All the dishes were filling and definitely worth the calories! There's usually a line so make sure to go early. A great option for the great American diner cuisine.

Love this place. Super casual cafeteria style setting, order food at the counter, they give you a number and bring it to you. I usually order the Santa Fe chicken salad (which is pictured with this review) and it is consistently great. Chicken is of high quality and never over cooked and dry, the rub they use gives it an awesome flavor. Salad has nice mixed greens with tomato, cheese, etc. Seriously one of the best value meals you can get in PS and bustling for lunch. Place has a good sized parking lot too. Easy stop across from Trina Turk in the uptown design district.

Me and my friends liked John’s restaurant overall! We liked the french toast it was really good! My biscuits and gravy was ok. Lacked flavour, the biscuits were very basic. Prices were reasonable. You order first and pay and are given a number and you just pick your own seats and they bring your order out to you. So its like a sit down fast food place. Staff are friendly. Plenty of parking. Nice area to walk around!
