Black Bear Diner

Good service.... our waitress was very attentive and the food came out quickly. The food was "fine" although my waffle was very good. It's like a Perkins. Kids would like it due to the bear decor. I also appreciate the company commitment to wildlife preservation. (Drop the grits from the menu, they aren't good at all). Also, we did not know beer or wine were available at this location because that menu was hidden behind the ketchup and marketing stuff on the table.

Food was really good. Had chicken fried steak with baked potato. Came with green beans and a corn muffin. I don't like cornbread but these were awesome.. Didn't even taste like corn. The chicken fried steak was huge, hot and tasted better than ive had in a long time. Baked potato needed a lil extra butter.. Was dry.. And the green beans were excellent. Our waitress on the other hand sukd. We're going to go back again.. Get a different server 😜 it was our anniversary and they gave us a few bear bucks to make up for the "service". Was going to go back regardless.. The food was great.

Breakfast at Black Bear Diner was an excellent experience. Little bears danced on the curtains, and throughout the rooms. Newspaper printed menus sat on the table before us offering a feeling of times long forgotten. The food was delicious, portions plentiful, and prices good. And our server, Lea, was amazing! She accommodated over 40 adults in our party, and several children, without missing a beat! Our coffee cups were always kept full. No one left disappointed. Thank you staff and management.
