Salsa Verde

Going straight to why I think its okay, well for starters my daughters food had a hair in it we didn't notice it until she was on her last piece. it was to late to tell the waitress. second I asked for fried onions and they gave me a huge chunk on my burrito it wasn't really cut also there was cheese only on one side of it, third the table was really sticky and fourth no plastic wear and fifth this one is going off topic a little but the plate with the enchiladas was way to big for the portion it wasn't visually appealing and thats just me being picky, the food was okay over all but it just wasn't something that I would rave about, what I did like is that coming in visually its a really nice restaurant seems clean, I liked that there menu is huge right by the register I like the pictures of food they have, also liked the service the waitress came to our table a few times but towards the end of the meal, in my opinion they have a nice attitude 🙂 so thats good. But over all the food was okay.

Salsa verde is a very exceptional place to eat. It has fast service, great looking and tasting food, as well as clean. Salsa verde also sells beer and margaritas they serve until 9:30PM. It is located in front of Home Depot on route 34. I make my own Mexican food at home but this place beat me by far. They went 120% for service and is under very good management. Staff are bilingual. We order tacos which were $2.20 a piece which is a fair price considering you get the salsa bar. Also a make your own burrito for $6.50. They have a mixture of Pepsi products for drinks. On Tuesday they have $1.00 tacos and Thursday are $5.00 Tortas. Salsa verde caters, from the looks of it they have two catering vans and are in Uber eats. Please if your in town or live near by or even looking for a place to take your date! This place is amazing!

Went here for Taco Tuesday and had some yummy tacos for cheap!! I tried the chorizo, steak and shrimp. The chorizo and steak were Mexican style with cilantro and onion on corn tortillas. The shrimp was on a flour tortilla with mango salsa. Everything was excellent. The salsa bar was great...fresh lime wedges, different salsa, hot sauces and cilantro. Friendly staff. Honor coupons. Parking lot in a strip mall. I would definitely go back for tacos. Try the cheese dip...yummy!!

Have noticed a steady decline over the last year in the quality of this establishment. The last time we ordered our tacos were made wrong. We decided to give it another try...bad choice! To start it off the lady at the register was wearing her mask under her chin as was one of the guys in the kitchen. I have included a picture of the two cheese dips they served us. Super disgusting. The last and final straw is my husband returned the clearly old and burnt up one, they did exchange it but not one apology was given for the inconvenience or the low standards to which they serve their food. This was our final visit here. To many good places nearby to settle for a place that is lacking in so many areas.

If your looking for a sit down restaurant, this is not it. You order at the counter and then they bring it to you. It's clean, bright, and the employees are friendly. The food is... Not homemade. The rice is instant stuff, the beans are canned, and the steak is low quality. The music they play is some crazy mix of K pop and Tijuana street music. I can say that the homemade tamales are good! So if you come here, just don't have high expectations and you'll be ok.
